Improvements to the Forum in 2017
A lot of improvements to the Rife Forum have been made in 2017.
Let us first look at recent events, here:
SSL Security Improvements
The forum has now implemented SSL security on the forum. This encrypts the connection between your computer and the forum in the same way this is done when you purchase something securely, online. This prevents hackers from intercepting your text, passwords, etc. between your computer or device and the forum. The SSL connection is now fully activated and the insecure connection is no longer available. The forum mail server now also uses a secure connection to send all emails to the members.
The Rife Wiki has also been unusable for some time, now. The concept of the Rife Wiki was to have a common Wiki for all Rife related topics that was under our control and safer from the kind of political bias that you find on Wikipedia against all alt.med topics. Only Rife Forum members were able to make changes to the text, in the hope this would keep things accurate. Highlights include the details of the Jim Folsom trial, that had a very positive effect on reducing the negative implications of what happened to Jim, by exposing the facts to the public, thereby reducing the spin from those trying to use it to attack the Rife world. Another highlight is the Rife machine table that listed a number of Rife devices side-by-side. Both of these pages have yet to be republished on rife.de and will be when time allows.
However, very few people contributed and critical topics like "Urban Legends" were still altered to have broken links, etc. The wiki was then altered to work poorly and finally the text disappeared completely. Obviously, running a Wiki, where anyone can make changes, is going to invite the wrong people to try and ruin it. This was corrected when the contents of the Wiki pages was transferred to the rife.de website where only I can make changes.
The RifeWiki has now been superseded by the new Articles section of the Rife Forum. Members can now promote their own forum posts to articles or write new articles. When writing an article, you can decide yourself if it can be seen publically (incl. non-members) or for members only. Under each post, you will find a button "Promote to Article" so that you can make your own most important posts more visible.
The Rife Forum has now undergone a major upgrade and overhaul. Due to technical issues and delays, this process took much longer than planned and resulted in the forum being offline for about 4 months. However, the new Rife Forum is certainly better with the new vBulletin 4.2.5 software and has gained a number of new features. The most prominent new feature is the ability to publish articles on the front page for all to read. There is now no longer any need to start your own website to publish Rife-related articles, as you can now do that on the Rife Forum (found under the Home button). The audio and video player has been completely upgraded and is now smartphone compatible, as is the forum itself.
The Forum Runner App is no longer supported and does not work with the forum. It has been replaced by TapaTalk.
The Rife Shop is the new number one location to find relevant Rife-related websites. The aim is to link to all available relevant websites with important information including a screenshot, description, technical analysis, link to the relevant section of the Rife Forum and where possible, an up to 5 star rating of the website and an independant review. With hundreds of often little known websites out there, this is a mammoth tast to locate and process the hundreds of websites out there. Over a hundred websites are already listed and at the time of writing, there is a backlog of over 100 more websites waiting to be added. This project grew out of the original plans to do independant device testing. We started a crowdfunding campaign, that only brought in very limited funds. As device testing was not possible with the funds available, the concept was adapted to start a links directory for all websites and devices, with reviews being added. That is an ongoing project.
Thank-you for reading this and if you wish to help us in any way in achieving these aims, let me know. You can donate towards the costs of running the forum and these new projects here:

Re: Improvements to the Forum in 2017
Hello Peter,
I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this question - feel free to move or remove it if you like. I've been trying to do some searching of old posts that I've made on the forum, but cannot find many of them. It seems that when I do a search under my name, posts are returned from only threads that I've started, but there are no posts listed from other threads that I've participated in. Can you advise, is there another way I should be searching? I am wondering if some valuable old posts have been lost, with all the forum changes in the past year.
Thanks very much,
Charlene Boehm
Re: Improvements to the Forum in 2017
Hi Charlene,
no posts have been lost due to the various upgrades. To search for your own posts, just click on your username, on the left of your post and then on "View Forum Posts" and all your posts will be listed (when I tried it, 500 were listed). Now I can see you have actually made 821 posts so I looked in the settings and found there was a limit of 500 items. I tested what would happen if I increased that to 1000, but 500 seems to be the hard limit.
Another way of searching is to use the Advanced Search (link on top right) where you can specify your username. I just tried that and only 43 entries were found - that is strange. I tried searching for my name and it found 500 entries.
So try again and if it still does not work, I will have to rebuild the search indexes that can take a long time.
Re: Improvements to the Forum in 2017
Peter thanks very much for your reply. I have gone through about 200 of the 500 group so far...found some posts of mine that I have saved; but still looking for some others, in particular one that gave a lot of information about emissions through different types of glass. Will keep you posted how it goes!
Best wishes,
Char
