How to Receive New Posts via EMail!

We often hear that members wish to receive new posts via Email as they are posted. This allows you to keep up-to-date without having to visit the forum just to see if there are any new messages. Being an online forum, such members would otherwise only see new posts when they actually visit and login to http://www.rifeforum.com

Please note that formatting and images are not shown correctly, smilies appear as a word between two colons, and attachments are not sent via Email. You can however simply click on the "Reply here" link at the top of the Email to see the latest post on the forum itself as it should be seen.

Although you receive the messages via Email, you cannot reply via EMail. To reply, click on the "Reply here" link at the top of the Email and reply online as usual.

There are various methods of receiving new posts via Email in order to cater for your individual needs as described below:

New Messages from a Specific Thread
You normally view the messages online, yet wish to be informed via email when new messages are posted in a specific thread you are interested in.
    • Click on the thread you are interested in so that you can read the first message.
    • At the top of the first message, click on "Thread Tools"
    • Then click on "Subscribe to this Thread"
    • Select the Notification Type: Instant notification by email, Daily Updates per Email or Weekly Updates by email.
    • If you have setup more than one Folder, select the one you want
    • Click on the Add Subscription button.

From now on, you will receive all new posts made in this thread via Email as they are posted. When viewing the list of threads in a forum section, the threads you have subscribed to are marked with a

To stop receiving email messages from a specific topic, repeat the first two steps and then select "Unsubscribe from this Thread"

All New Messages posted on the Rife Forum

You prefer to read all new messages in your Email account and only visit the Rife Forum itself when you wish to comment on a specific thread, download an attachment, etc.

In order to make this easy, we have setup a special Rifeforum Group on groups.io (previously the Rifeforum Yahoogroup). Simply click on the
button and sign up to automatically receive all new messages from the forums marked with at the end of their description.

However, please remember that all new posts and replies have to be made here, NOT as an email reply to a Rifeforum Group message. At the top of each such email, you will find a "Reply here:" link. To reply to a post, click on that link first to be taken to the appropriate post here on the Rife Forum.

Not all forum sections are included in the emails sent via the Rifeforum Group as, for example, the Off Topic forums will not be of interest to all members and the Premium Area is just for forum members only. As groups.io specifically forbids discussions critical of vaccinations, the Vaccinations section has also been excluded from these emails.

If you wish to additionally receive all new messages from those forums too, follow the instructions for All New Messages from a Specific Forum as described above.

You can also setup groups.io to send you messages as a Daily Digest

If you wish to stop receiving all new messages via groups.io, you can either Leave (unsubscribe) the group or set your Email Delivery settings to Special Notices (and you will only receive urgent messages from the admin - very rare).

An alternative way of joining the Rifeforum Group is to send an empty Email to
    rifeforum+subscribe@groups.io

    To leave the
Rifeforum Group you can send an empty Email to rifeforum+unsubscribe@groups.io

If you are still a member of the previous Rifeforum Yahoogroup, you can leave that by sending an email to Rifeforum-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com

Subscribing or unsubscribing from the Rifeforum Group (or Yahoogroup) will have no effect on your subscription to the Rife Forum, here.
